World Bank APPEALS Project Establish Central Knowledge Repository 

Following the successful completion of the establishment of APPEALS Central Knowledge Repository (CKR), the Consultant has presented the cloud-based knowledge management platform to the National Coordination Office of the Project.
Speaking during the presentation in Abuja, National Project Coordinator, Alhaji Mohammed Sani Jobdi praised the efforts of all the KM teams at National and State levels for their dedication to duty and invaluable contributions to the successful establishment of the CKR.
Agro-Processing, Productivity Enhancement and Livelihood Improvement Support Project (APPEALS) is an initiative of the Nigerian Government which is implemented by the World Bank.
It is a 6-year project designed in line with the Agricultural Promotion Policy (APP) of the Federal Government, and implemented in Cross River, Enugu, Kaduna, Kano, Kogi and Lagos State.
The project is targeting 60,000 individuals as direct beneficiaries, that is 10,000 beneficiaries per state and 300,000 farm household members as indirect beneficiaries.
The project has eleven commodity value chains which include rice, cocoa, poultry, cashew, maize, Ginger, Dairy, wheat, Tomato, Cassava and Aquaculture.
Sequel to the presentation, designated project staff across all the PIUs would be familiarized with the operational modalities of the platform, contents population and management; to be followed by official presentation to the general PIUs/stakeholders at National and State levels.
Members of the NCO Management, Heads of Units and other project staff were in attendance during the presentation.
