How Nigeria can overcome challenges, by APC Woman Leader

The newly elected All Progressives Congress (APC) Woman Leader, Betta Edu, has said Nigeria needs more investment in education to overcome the menace of out of school children and the attendant security challenges.
She advised the government to partner the private sector to promote education, adding that government cannot do it alone.
The APC Chieftain spoke at the maiden Sports competition of the Aretean, Nigeria’s premier Ivy League College.
Fielding questions shortly after the sports competition, Edu, who chaired the occasion, commended the school authority for advancing quality education in the country.
According to her, “I am very proud of the quality of education they are giving out to the children here. If more people are educated, if more people have quality education, then they grow up to be more engaged and productive, contributing their quota to nation building, that way you will not have all the crisis which we have in our country. Most times you find out that those people getting involved in all those things are not educated”.
Proprietress of the school, Mrs Uloma Nwosu, said the whole essence of the college is to raise complete children to will rise to leadership role in Nigeria, Africa and the world.
She maintained that the school does not only place emphasis on passing examinations and certificates but is intentional about exposing the students to wild range of choices.
The Head of School, Tara Ogunwumiju, said the school is committed to raising a whole child, adding that everything is intentionally built to achieve the objective.
