Hoodlums have invaded a filling station around Delabo Junction, Ilisan-Remo, in the Ikenne Local Government Area of Ogun State, killing two night guards.
Our correspondent gathered that the two guards were attached to the filling station. The incident happened on Sunday night.
Residents on Monday woke up to discover the victims in a pool of blood.
A resident, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said the assailants took nothing away from the filling station, a situation that raised suspicion that the attack was a case of assassination.
The state Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Abimbola Oyeyemi, said he had yet to be briefed on the incident.
He, however, promised to get back as soon he was briefed on the incident.
