The Federal High Court sitting at Jalingo today, 17th May 2022 has ordered the All Progressives Congress (APC) and EL-SUDI not to recognize any other person as Chairman of the 5 Local Governments in Southern Taraba.
This was made in an order in suit No. FHC/JAL/CS/10/2022. The suit was filed by P. D. Pius Esq of counsel to Habu Abdulrahman one of authentic Chairman of APC Donga Local Government.
Recall that EL-SUDI has purportedly sought to recognize different set of executives apart from the authentic executives that were elected from valid Congresses monitored by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
He sought to rely on mere letter purportedly written to him by National Organizing Secretary who cannot by ordinary letter change elected local government chairmen of Southern Taraba.
