The Managing Director of Bank of the Agriculture (BoA), Alwan Ali Hassan is said to be among the missing persons who boarded the Abuja-Kaduna train that was attacked by bandits between Katari and Rijana on Monday evening.
The Nation learnt Hassan was among the victims whisked away by the terrorists using cars they had brought to the scene.
A source from BoA, who confirmed this to The Nation yesterday said Hassan’s line has been off since on Monday as they have been unable to reach him.
The source added that Hassan boarded the evening train going to Kaduna with one of his nieces.
He said: “We cannot not tell if he has been kidnapped or not, but we are worried because no one has heard from him since yesterday.
“His phone lines have been switched off and no one has contacted the bank or any of his family members.
