2023: We’re determined to replicate feats of 2015, 2019, says APC Group

Ahead of the 2023 general elections, the Forum of Buhari Support Groups (FOBSG), has vowed to replicate the feats achieved in the 2015 and 2019 general elections respectively by mobilising popular support for the party and its candidates.
The Forum appealed to those in leadership positions of the party to do everything possible to save the party from a further slide to anarchy by shunning all acts that could divide the party.
National Chairman of the Forum, Dr Abiso Kabir, who disclosed this yesterday during a press briefing in Abuja, called on key stakeholders to unite behind President Muhammadu Buhari in the efforts to find an enduring solution to the problems of the party.
Kabir also called on the party leaders to avoid promoting personal interests above the interest of the over 40 million registered members of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
According to him, the Forum believes that progress can only be achieved if all the sides are willing to make sacrifices in the collective interest of the party.
“This is very critical time for our party to decide its future, and everything must be done to avoid truncating the dream of Nigerians who have faith in the future of our country under the administration of the only progressive political party”.
Speaking further, he said all hands must be on deck to reposition the party for the forth coming 2023 general elections.
The Forum however appealed to those aspiring to lead the party, toe the path of decency and comradeship for the collective good of all.
He said: “As support groups, with the largest nationwide spread, we are determined to replicate the feats of 2015 and 2019 in mobilising popular support for the party and its candidates in the next general elections.
“We must do all we can to become stronger and more united”.
